My Dream Lover Appears in the Springtime

Spring Time Brings Him to Me

I live high on a green-wild flowered embedded

hill overlooking the Pacific,

A lonely existence—not overly terrific.

Each spring my dreams come alive,

it is always the same-- but so

astounding different,

He appears when the sea is angry,

and the waves push hard against the

beach so inefficient.

First, he whispers, “Are you still mine,

and will forever be for all time?”

Then his lips ravenously without question

---take mine,

As he is the master of kisses—in my dreams

—in space and time.

My Lover and the Sea

Waiting for My Dream Lover

Waiting for My Dream Lover

Spring Time by the Sea

Spring Time by the Sea

Flowers and Willows on the Shore

Flowers and Willows on the Shore

With my fingertips I surveyed his handsome face, to record

each curve, and concave of his dimpled face,

To be played back over time-- again and again in my secluded mine,

---in my secret place.

With his strong hands he manipulated my body into a tranquil state,

His lips trekked down my impatience body with tiny kisses and nibbles that brought

titillating waves of passion—but he makes me wait.

My body is starved for his attention—my appetite so enormously unsated,

He takes his time to drive me completely crazed and into a fevered pitched

as I shivered and beseeched him and even berated.

But he only smiled down at me with his blazing eyes, and again his lips continues the slow pace,

My body could not be still, as his hands began its race.

Only the cold breeze from the sea drifts through my hot-blooded room,

If he does not stop I will shamelessly die soon.

Just when my body has risen into another orbit ---another time,

He takes me to the stars in the sweetest ecstasy---so quaveringly divine.

He holds me then until the sun has conquered the moon,

And when I awake—he is gone—and it is almost noon.

But my body knows it mourns in vain, and waits on another plane,

Because it is Spring Time and my “Dream Lover” will return, again, again.

With swollen lips I drank my coffee and walked on the beach with Snow Flake

and stared at the angry sea as it whipped and wafted white foams ashore,

Whispering to me—there will be more.

I smiled and sent a kiss to the angry sea,

For each year it brings him to me.

Yes I did use to have a dream lover... Now that I have grown older I don't know I think it faded away...

He was a very famous musician --- and I just adored it.... His name was Prince... Aka Purple Reign...
