Let Me Whisper in Your Ear

I have a secret

I know longer wish keeping

Nobody ever got the humor

Nor saw the beauty

‘cept me

Too cute

Too new wave

Too nude

Production nightmare

To create

To reveal

Naked bodies

In the woods

Maidens and masters

Tricks and tricksters

Mountain lioness

Directing a forest

Filled with love

Scroll to Continue

Peace and

Majestic film

Not a pent - housed

Player to be found

If it came down right to it

Would I stay or run for higher ground?

Could I ask others to expose themselves

And not be willing to take off my crown?

I am such a silly girl.

I get silly thoughts in my head.

By definition,

I must keep…

Even if I need to sleep

For to let it go

Might be the wish

I have been waiting for

I have a secret

Lie down beside me

Let me whisper it in your ear

Beautiful words, dear Kim

When you whisper in the night

When you were searching for the light

You will find solace in you flight

The respite will set things right

When you the new star in the Heavens

Shinning Bright ***

Phyllis, Faith and Jo,

Thanks so much for your kind words. Trying to resume some sort of schedule as life has been turned so upside down. Feel so lucky to have such lovely ladies such as yourselves in my life.

Jo Alexis-Hagues from Lincolnshire, U.K on June 07, 2015:

Kim, I love the imagery, very intriguing and what a beautiful photo! It goes so well with the poem, like the Mona Lisa's smile, I just want to know her secret. Blessing always.

Faith Reaper from southern USA on June 07, 2015:

Hi Darling Kim,

I am so glad I popped over here this day, for I did somehow miss this mysterious one of yours which gives one much to ponder. I will reread it many times and think on it.

Thinking of you and hoping your are enjoying a peaceful Sunday.

Up ++++ tweeting, pinning, G+ and sharing of course!

Hugs and much love to you from southern USA always

Hi Kim. This poem intrigues me. For some reason it makes me think of "A Midsummer Night's Dream". The lady in the photo looks like she belongs in the movie.

I love your poem. Voted Up, B, I and H+

How did I get so lucky?

How nice it is to sit down after a very, long day...

And receive support and encouragement.

Thank You,

What is a secret? The secret that I see is in the photo - she looks like she just slit her wrists. Lovely poem Kim and interesting too. I love mysteries. I voted up, shared and pinned it.

What a great poem Kim. I love the short quick lines especially this witty phrase "not a pent-housed player to be found." Voted up.

Your poetry reads like a machine gun....burst after burst of power, with deadly aim at the target. Loved this one, Kim.
