Legend of the Dragon Breath Part 1

In an era of myth

a long time ago,

Where chaos likens

to a daily show,

When sorcery brew

like well aged mead,

and chivalry shines

on heroic deeds.

Generations past

yet the songs endured,

Snippets of this story

still thrive and grow,

Most called it songs

of the fire breathing turd,

Legend of the Dragon Breath

Scroll to Continue

as is now well known.

We start off our tale

with a fancy adieu,

Forget first reality

and start thinking anew,

Less you find lost

unenlightened i should say,

For during those dark ages

fantasy runs the play.

A brief summary then

of what had happened so far,

It began with a dragon

who started a war,

The dragon was awakened

deep deep down below,

Beneath gold filled chambers

and forgotten cavern burrows.

The Dragon was troubled

by a missing gold piece,

So it emerged from its cavern

in pursuit of a false lead.

The hunt took quite a turn

when alas it caught its host,

The gold was not with them

it was definitely gone and lost.

The dragon decided retribution

and so he set on a quest,

To gain the perfect treasure

a fitting replacement to his loss.

Its journey took through dangerous terrains

of murky swamps and misty plains,

Through forests wild darkened hills,

And finally into a wide flat verdant fertile.

Our story kicks off

when the dragon decided to land,

Rest its tired wings

from its thousand league flight,

It spotted a castle

white turrets and grand,

Enamoured by its symmetry

the dragon checked in its find.

Thus start the story

of the wyrm that breath fire,

The land it drove

into years of civil war,

The kingdom did rid the scourge

as we will now sing,

And of the fool who tamed the beast,

and how he became King.
