Keep your mind, when all seems lost.

Deep down in the mud and mire

Where only darkness does prevail

I fight to keep my senses

My Mind is The Holy Grail.

To lose it, spells disaster,

So I cling to mud and mire,

Not wanting to slip further,

No matter how I tire.

Hold on tight, girl. Don´t let go.

Demons come, but they will go.

The air feels poisonous

I can hardly breathe,

As slip a little further.

How can I leave?

Hold on tight, girl. Don´t let go.

Demons come, but they will go.

Mind over matter is a wondrous thing,

Focus, visualise sky again.

Don´t be beaten by mud and mire.

You will rise to live again.

Hold on tight , girl. Don´t let go.

Demons come but they will go.

I try to listen to myself.

The mud and mire can´t keep me.

I struggle to find footing

till somehow help will reach me.

Hold on tight, girl. Don´t let go.

demons come but they will go.

Very nice, Dim. It's like climbing up the mountain and slipping back and then you step on another rock to start climbing yet again. Good piece.

In today's world it isn't easy to keep yourself sane. I know how awful it sounds, but it's true. Wonderful poem, encouraging to keep the faith, and keep going.

"Demons come but they will go." - today may be bad, but tomorrow sure will be better.
