Married To His Phone (Mistress)

inspire-generation

My husband's mistress

When we met in college,

he was chatting with his mistress,

Standing in the hallway, hardly moved,

His sweet smile, showed he loved her,

His mistress, that he never parted ways.

A glance at me and his world,

became a standstill staring agape,

For he saw an angel.

My attention became his profession like

His mistress that he never parted ways.

I gave him my contacts,

To romance,she showed him

how to love Lilly, and carefully

Delight her heart never to break it,

His mistress that he never parted ways.

A year too soon, he got tired,

And waiting fifty fifty we craved

For attention, only the lucky became

The selection, but back in his mind,

His mistress that he never parted ways.

Out of college, called Mr profession,

To make ends meet, he won our attention,

Sweet angel, dived in family provision,

While he drank himself he forgot his Lilly, not

His mistress that he never parted ways.

Not caring about Lilly and the kid's day,

Holding her hands,

He walks with his mistress in,

A gloomy smile he gives to them and not to,

His mistress that he never parted ways.

Together they sit in the couch,

forgetting the children need homework done,

They smile cuddling at times loudly laugh,

And sternly stare when we look at them,

His mistress that he never parted ways.

Years pass by and grey hair grace his beards,

The children out of the house, they need not

His attention again ,since they care

for their own. Now wishes them near like

His mistress that he never parted ways.

Since he is the only one Lilly has loved,

He turns his sweet sorrow to her

Slowly he forgets his mistress' attention,

And drifts it back to Lilly just like

His mistress that he never parted ways.
