Thanksgiving is Coming...I Love Thanksgiving!

What I give "Thanks" for is to be right here now...

What I have the most "Thanks" for is...How I made it to here...anyhow.

I should have met an end by now...if it had been left to me...

Here I sit at the table...Giving "Thanks" with all my family.

Another year has gone since when we sat 'round here...

I can't tell ya' where this year went...only that time flew by...that's clear.

I have seen my daughter, who is married, having a blessed successful life...

Her family growing once again...Such a joy to me and my wife.

Grandbabies to Hug and Laugh with...and Watch through the years...

Smiles and Fun for all the good times...Hugs and "Band-Aids" for the tears.

Happy to still be here after Surgery last year...Glad to be part of the Living...

Thankful that the House is paid-off...Finally...Going to be Great Thanksgiving!

Started writing again...Enjoying the chance to explore my imagination...

Praying that COVID disappears...and We can move on...Across the Nation.

Grateful that my 'Cuz has moved into a new place...the place of her dreams...

Glad that my Brother's Gigs are returning...Since "Live Music" was hurt during this time...it seems.

Happy that my Mom is still in Good Health through everything...Blessed that She is still doing well...

Thankful that my Son-in Law's Business is still Strong...from everything I've heard him tell.

I have not changed that much...though time has changed me greatly...

I have taken wrong turns...and jumped at opportunities that were gave me.

Yet, here I sit amongst you on this Thanksgiving day...

Grateful...to still be with you and know that all are OK.

The smells come from the kitchen...each preparer of delights has a smile...

I see each side and main dish...ready to eat...though it might be a while.

Some of my favorite dishes displayed...as they come to the table...

Let the young ones pull on the wishbone...Get the best side of it...if you're able!

Ready to carve the turkey...ready to pile on the dressing...

Ready to look around at y'all...and count each one a blessing.

Happy for those who have gone before...cherish their memory...

Learn that life...must go on...that's how they'd want it to be.

Thankful for those that have served...helping to make us still free...

Grateful for this Nation...O' Lord...So proud to live in this Country.

On this Fall day we gather across the Land...as done so through great tradition...

Of long ago...until now...We have much to be thankful for...more than I mention.

Don't forget...as you look around for someone to pass the rolls...or more mashed potatoes..

That you have much to be thankful for...More things than anyone knows...!

A Wonderful Meal And Celebration with Family and Friends.

Turkey...Prepared and ready for the table.

Turkey...Prepared and ready for the table.
