Mar is a child educator and an English lit graduate who enjoys reading and writing poems, articles, and short stories on various topics.

As I read the book, I learnt not just about a healthy lifestyle that will help me live a longer and happier life, but also about how I want my future to look. What is my "IKigai"? What is my life's purpose?

And how did I come across this?
The solution is quite straightforward; all you have to do is look at the book's basic diagram. For me, this basic graphic served as a career advisor. So, if you're unsure about how your future will turn out and are terrified of preparing, take out your pencil and paper and begin planning properly. It not only allows you to plan, but it also allows you to follow your heart, making it easier to pursue your dreams.
Examine the diagram.

Your IKigai is made up of four elements that are all connected and provide you with a comprehensive life direction and purpose.

The four elements are;
2.Mission/ Purpose
4. Job/vocation

Let's Start....

Step 1. What Do I love to do?

Not every human being has the same passion, mission, career, or vocation. That is why we must all seek out our own unique "IKigai."
Take a glance at the upper circle and start putting down what you enjoy doing. This is simply referred to as a pastime or a hobby.

Examples are:
I love ;
4. sports
5. Acting
6. Cooking etc.
7. or maybe sleeping ;)

You are free to jot down any of your favorite hobbies. If you choose the last option, do not proceed to the next step; your procedure will terminate here.;)

Step 2. What can I actually do?

Now, this is the crucial phase, because it is not required that something we enjoy is also something we excel at. For example, you may enjoy singing, dancing, and acting, but you also enjoy cooking and can easily learn recipes and prepare meals without assistance. Now here Cooking is what is referred to as a skill in this context.

Step 3. Can I be paid for what I love?

This is the stage at which you master and plan your future as well as your way of life. You will choose your career, purpose, and life goal at this step. For instance, if you have the ability to cook, do some study on how you might make money by cooking a meal.

Is there any way I can use this skill to generate money and support myself? You will undoubtedly come across several sources that provide important information on the expertise you are familiar with, as well as the payoff.

Now, this is a very important phase, so don't rush it. You may believe you're good at certain things, but you aren't. So, before you make a decision on your future, put your skills to the test.
Because you still have your hobby list, dude.;)

Step 4. World needs it!

Yes! Demand plays a significant role in determining your professional path. The fact that your expertise is in demand by the world and people around you is what motivates you to practice it and earn money; this is what we refer to as a job.

Finally, you are performing the job/work that you enjoy and are skilled at. Congratulations!
You've mastered your "IKigai." Your life's mission. You will now enjoy living, and when you enjoy living, you will live a longer, happier and healthier life.
