There Is Still Healing for the Hurting

Jo Anne has been a woman of God since 1981 and is the author of How to Know God Better & Love Yourself More and For Such A Time As This.

God, the Same Yesterday, Today & Forever

As a survivor of rape, divorce, betrayal and more, I experienced healing for my hurting then and hurts ease into my life now. There is nothing new under the sun. The situations we experience today have been going on since the beginning of time. It is God who provided healing for the hurting from the barren, broken, bleeding, and bent-over women in the bible, to Jesus on the cross, and those of us in present day. God is the same, yesterday, today and forever. He is no respecter of persons. What He's done for others, God will do for you.

I learned how to victoriously uncover, heal and release the hurt that occurs in my and you can do the same. Be encouraged by the following poem...

There is Still Healing for the Hurting

There is still healing for the hurting,
no matter the illness, trouble or pain.
The Lord promises to deliver the righteous;
be assured that God was, is
and will forever be the same.

He still heals the brokenhearted,
whose wounds He also comforts and binds.
When we trust and accept His Lordship,
He’ll teach us to guard our hearts and minds.

He forgives all our iniquities
and can heal our diseases too.
He is our Shepherd, the restorer of our souls,
Yes, The Lord can heal the hurt in you.

For those who are crying in the midnight hour,
losing sleep, feeling anxious or void,
By thankful prayer and supplication,
you can experience transcending peace and morning joy.

There is still healing for the hurting,
God made the provision in His redemptive plan.
He knows our name, the number of hairs on our head,
and inscribed our picture on the palms of His hands.

Turn to Jesus with an open heart,
believe, persevere and remain calm;
Be strong in your confidence and remember:
Our Lord Jesus is the healing balm!

But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” (Malachi 4:2, TLB)
