God's Perfect Creation

by John Hansen (c) 2014

When God created woman

He sculptured her with care.

He planned each minute detail

Of body, face, and hair.

He gave her intuition,

Personality, and grace.

One act of disobedience

Left Eve in His disgrace.

God reworked through His master plan

A million days and nights.

On the day that you were born

He put the matter right.

You are the perfect woman,

God's ultimate creation.

Your kindness, warmth, intelligence,

Fills me with elation.

I know that I'm not worthy

To spend my life with you,

But I dedicate my every breath

To be devoted, loyal, and true.

God Made Woman- Keith Urban

Thanks again Blondey. Yes, you are right, country singers do seem to have a high percentage of Christians among them.

Blondey Hubpages on June 11, 2015:

It's nice to have a spiritual aspect, and nice tribute to your woman. I love how country singers are Christians, I am a "devout" one myself. Thanks

Wow! Aneegma, I am speechless..well almost. Thank you for that compliment. I am blushing. I won't show my woman this comment..haha. I do believe us men often don't appreciate our women, all women enough, so this is my tribute to you all. :)

Have a great night or day, wherever you are in the Universe.

Jasmine S from Pennsylvania on April 07, 2014:

On behalf of all women that have read this I can confidently say WE ALL WANT TO KILL YOUR WOMAN AND REPLACE HER WITH US!!! LOL Such a wonderful poem, very sweet and elegant and lovely. If all men cherished us like this they would be complete peace on earth. Well done.

Good to get your insightful comment Harishprasad. I agree with everything you say. Thank you for the vote up too.

Harish Mamgain from New Delhi , India on March 16, 2014:

We can't think of beauty, grace and love without thinking first about woman. Whatever was written, is being written and will be written about woman is akin to writing on pages of eternity and so infinite are words and infinite are ways to express feelings. John, though your poem is simple and sweet yet is very profound in it's depth and import. In every avatar, be it mother, sister, wife or sister, woman is a great phenomenon ! Great writing. I also enjoyed the sweet song. Voted up.

John Hansen (author) from Queensland Australia on March 15, 2014:
