What made you want to become a producer?

Storytelling has always been my passion. As a kid growing up, I would spend tons of hours watching behind-the-scenes videos of film production sets. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do in the industry at the time, but I wanted to be part of the creative process. After working as an accountant for about a year, I decided to move to Los Angeles from Nigeria to pursue film. After a taste of the industry as a production assistant, I figured it out. Producing is my calling.

Would you mind sharing some of the projects you've worked on?

I recently just wrapped up principal photography of an Action thriller feature, titled “The sweepers”, starring Vernon Wells, Diana Robin, directed by Michael Matteo Rossi. The sweepers are scheduled for a September 10, 2022 release. It is a movie following a matriarch mother from a family of assassins, who falls ill, causing her three children and boyfriend to fight among themselves to control her empire.

Have you always had a passion for film?

Yes, filmmaking has always been my passion. Around when I was 11, I watched Stanley Kubrick’s “The shining. I was so stunned because of how, beautiful the story, editing, sound design, and mise en scene was. There weren’t a lot of opportunities back home, so I started writing movie reviews on a blog with some friends in college during my undergrad, pending my move to Los Angeles.

In addition to producing, is there another aspect of the film industry that interests you?

I will say directing. I know, I know, everyone wants to be a director. Making creating decisions regarding the look, shots, etc. sounds exciting for people. Unfortunately, most people will have to go through the self-producing low budget indie route to get their name out there. An artist will always make art regardless of the circumstance! I am presently in development for the psychological thriller feature I will be directing in the fall of 2022.

What is your favorite film you have worked on?

My favorite film I’ve worked on is a thriller titled “The Decision”. It was my first project directing, a short film. It was such an eye-opening beautiful experience, which I learned so much from, leading me to work on a feature-length movie based on the story titled “Game of Fear”

Do you have any upcoming projects you would like to share with us?

Presently in the development stage, is a project I’ve been working on for about a year. A psychological thriller feature titled “Game Of Fear” Game of Fear is about a haunted, agoraphobic teen, scared of the outside world, who must confront his fear, in order to reveal the truth behind the mysterious death of his brother.

His brother convinces him to move out of the house and away from his overcontrolling, clingy mom. Brother is later reported dead by suicide. Tom must now overcome his agoraphobia and his mom.

This movie sheds light on Agoraphobia, an anxiety disorder suffered by roughly 2% of the U.S Population. It is guaranteed to take viewers on a roller-coaster swing of emotions.
