Friendship Is a Sign of Love and Peace - on Brenda’s Prompt Week 9
The Back Stage Story
A beautiful fellow author, a poetess, and most of all a kind and loving friend, Brenda Arledge challenged us with another word as a prompt for week 9. The word prompt for this week is Friendship.
Brenda said," For this week's word prompt I chose the word, "Friendship." I feel this word will create a lot of great work."
What is Friendship?
Friendship is an emotional relationship that occurs between two or more people, in which an affinity occurs and through which individuals share values, beliefs, and special moments.
What is most important in friendship is loyalty, commitment, support, and sincerity among friends. In developing a friendship, people present themselves as they really are without shame or fear of being judged. Friendships involve respect, acceptance, understanding, and trust.
Among friends, there are no masks that hide the true being. Throughout life, we have the opportunity to meet hundreds of people, but only with some of them that we will be able to create lasting friendships over the years. The moments shared with these people will constitute a series of unique and irreplaceable moments, especially during childhood.
Friendship is a fundamental part of the individual growth and development of each person. Living and sharing experiences with friends are part of life. A friendship is made up of a series of family, moral, and social values that make it unique and special. Loyalty is a fundamental element of friendship. Being faithful friends means respecting decisions, giving support, having time to listen and to advise.

Love can break but friendship never
We always talk about love. Butterflies that we have in our stomachs. Unbridled heartbeats. And the feeling of well-being in front of the person to love.
We always talk about his attraction, of his desire, of his hatred and sadness for someone who doesn't love us back.
Yet there is a feeling that is surely stronger than love. One that we are so used to that we even pay more attention to it. We wrote love stories about it. Beautiful or sad. Happy or heartbreaking.
What if it was about friendship. From the story of a great friendship. Oh, sure, that sounds like love a lot. It is in form, but in truth, it is much softer and more delicate. We talk about the love of our life. But what is the friendship of our life?
It is the person who for years supports you and endures you and yet it is not easy. This is the person who chose to support you. She/He was never forced to, he chose you. He is a person whom you have too often manhandled and tormented. With whom there have been a thousand disputes. A thousand tears shed for each other. And yet life has always brought you back to each other.
You know it is that person that if one day you lose and you will never get over it. This person can make you laugh just by exchanging a glance, who is better than anyone to read the tears behind your smile. Don't think I'm talking about a perfect person, No. He/She hurts you, tortured you. You hated her almost at times. He is clumsy, indecisive. In searching for himself, he sometimes losses you.
But you don't care. Because the important thing is not all the mistakes, he may have made. The important thing is that he always came back full of excuses. So yes, you like it. You even adore it. And at the same time, he/she annoys you with his/her facial expressions and manner or attitude. It's friendly love. Don't lose that person, this person is more precious than any you can love.

Friendship is a Plant
A friendship is the result of moments of discussion, of laughter, but also of trust sometimes and bad passages. I think friends, it's kind of a part of our life. When we have this protective circle around us, we feel at ease, peaceful, like in a cocoon. Yes, that's it, like in a cocoon!
When an individual is alone, he/she is in the state of a caterpillar. Then, if she knows how to surround herself with the right people, the wonderful people you want to see every day, then he/she is in this "protective cocoon", this chrysalis.
Finally, the friendship developed then allows the person to flourish, to transform, to metamorphose, she becomes a butterfly. And somewhere, it is thanks to them, the friends, that the person knew how to take off, that she knew how to become a good person, she knew how to beat her wings, to come out of her chrysalis to show who she really is.
However, do not believe in this invincible, perfect friendship, because perfection does not exist, it is we who give it a name to be able to push our limits. So friendship is a plant, a plant that must be cultivated with care, attention. If you remain benevolent, then you will witness the blossoming multiple buds, it will be your friendship that will blossom.
On the other hand, if you turn away from it, that you abandon it without thoroughness, then everything will fade. So you will only have the meager leaves and branches left if they still resist.
And know one thing, it is much more difficult to try to repel friendship than to let it blossom and become attached to it by taking care of it delicately...

A Friendship Without Borders
We are not brothers,
But a bond unites us,
Which will last all our life.
A friendship without borders.

My HP Friends
When we are talking about friendship, how dare could I go without saying anything about my virtual friends. The people who always listen, who may not meet in real, but still they love you, care for you, and think about you.
I don't use Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, and other social media platforms. I believe they are big-time wasters and are not good. So this is very obvious that I don't have any virtual friends before I joined HP.
HP gifted me a community where we are here for each other every time we need it. I am grateful, I have many wonderful people on this platform. I am following many people and many are following me. They like to hear me and I too love to hear them.
Few of them are very kind and caring, very close to my heart. From many, I am learning a lot. Many of them have inspired me. There are many, but to name a few, Manatita, Bill Holland (Mr. Bill), John Hansen, Pamela Oglesby, MsDora (I started following her a few weeks ago, but she inspired me), Brenda, of course, inspired me with her prompt challenges.
The ones I have named are older than me and this makes them even more special. They are wise. They know what I don't.
Here I would say about Manatita, he is a teacher, one who helps me, who cares, who listens and answer, a friend and a kind brother. A spiritual friend as I quoted above Abraham Kuyper said, "He is your friend who pushes you nearer to God." Manatita pushes me nearer to God. Thanks a lot, dear brother.
Mr. Bill uses to answer questions, he loves to help, the way he shows his love towards his parents, always inspired me
John Hansen, a kind friend, a poet. I like his smiling profile picture. One of the very first people I started to follow when I joined HP. He helped me with proofreading my first article. I don't know if he remembers. His poems from the Porch are my favorite.
Pamela is always very caring and supportive. She is polite and shares very great informative articles. I love her for this. She is always kind.
Of course, I do have some young friends at HP with whom I love to talk. Please don't consider me an old spirit. My school friends use to tease me with this name as they think I like to have more friendship with old people-- and my answer to them always is why should I not be friends with people who are elder than me, they are wise. I love them for their wisdom.

I have been on Hubpages almost 12 years, and while some have left there are others that have been here as long as I and it is not for the money.
