Ever After High Books are Great for Tweens

Getting my 10-year-old daughter to read books is a tedious task. She reads well, but she simply doesn't like to read. It's not a new thing; she has been like this her entire life. However, being a lover of books and a reader, I determined that her disinterest in reading was because she hadn't fallen in love with a book yet. In my attempt to find a book that she would fall head over heels in love with, I gave her my copy, my beloved copy of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. After that, we made a gradual progression to the Ever After High series by Shannon Hale. This set features everyone's favorite fairytale characters' children and is a great book series for tweens.

Where can I find the individual books that are shown the first picture. The Raven Queen Book, Briar Beauty etc. All I see are the first three books but not those individual ones of each daughter.

Susan Hazelton from Northern New York on March 07, 2015:

It is so hard to find books that a tween will become interested in. I have quite a few reluctant readers in my class. I will definitely look into these books. Thank you so much.

Jackie Lynnley from the beautiful south on March 05, 2015:

I didn't know about these so thank you. I sure hope kids are still reading today as much as they were. I think it can make such a difference in their lives and we should all encourage it who have children anywhere in our lives.
