Bring Eric Carle's Books Into Your Early Childhood Classroom

Eric Carle's books were always a must-have in my early childhood classroom. I always found one of his books to introduce a concept that I wanted to teach. I used the books that featured favorite animals to teach about each animal. I also used some of the favorites to create a recipe for cooking activities. Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar offered the opportunity to create a recipe for fruit salad.

Carle's books are still a must-have collection to have in the classroom. There is now a wealth of educational activities and books available from Penguin/Random House and their partnership with The World of Eric Carle to be added to classrooms.
