Easter Dreams, to my Dearest Dora Isaac Weithers. Wednesday's Inspiration 17

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Wisdom from the Christ and Corinthians

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” NIV. John 13: 34

"Love bears all things, believes all things.

Hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends." Corinthians 13: 7 - 8

On Dora Isaac Weithers

Dora Isaac Weithers, is one of my most loyal and supportive friends on Hubpages. A mother, grandmother and wife, she's loved by her family and taught them untiringly, of the values of purity, goodness ... tolerance and Love. Like me, Dora hails from the Caribbean --a place of true hospitality and splendour.

Dora has subscribed to many purity circles. Using her skills as an excellent writer, she has dedicated herself to many biblical works of stories, morals, motivations and popular quotes, to inspire a life of inner and outer beauty; of walking along the Path of righteousness and Truth. She loves to write about the seasons also.

Dora is an ardent advocate of the joys of ageing and in supporting those who feel young at heart, to go beyond their current achievements. Old age is simply a new page, as far as she is concerned. Nevertheless, she has surrendered gracefully, recognising like me, Bill and others, that there are limitations of the body, even if the Spirit is dauntless and strong.

I commend her highly, as a woman of inner and outer beauty, for her excellent nurturing, benevolence and magnanimity ... her care for her mom prior to passing with Alzheimers, and above all, her unspoken Love for her Master Christ. Glory be! Alleuyia!

Light and Beauty (Lotus Flower)

My Dreams

My past reveries have traversed this world

For eons; now the agony of my yearning,

Seeks naught but the Beloved’s magical lute.

My today’s journey, have carried the wounds

And afflictions of countless yesterdays; my

Demise molding and shaping this vessel, like the

Scroll to Continue

Skilled scythe of the Master Alchemist of Destiny.

Amidst the gift of hope and visionary tomorrows, my

Dreams wade through thorns, like a vibrant current, me

Suffering the pangs of delicate feet, as I reach out to the

Effulgence of glimmering roses, in yon meadow of ceaseless Love.

My cavern of pain still holds some shadows; the nights

Are lonely and restless. Faith ascends like a bird on a

Vision of Light, carrying me to an illuminous golden dawn.

- Lantern Carrier. 23rd March, 2021.

Faith has dispelled my myriad doubts;

Shown me a way to the golden shore.

My numerous hopes, ever-blossoming,

Floats on the firmament of each new dawn.

Grace abounds like an ocean vast, wiping

The tears of my Heart’s afflictions. Gobbling

Death with the flames of Christ’s Love; now

Demise has receded as victory calls.

Light descends on the seekers of Truth,

Dispersing our ‘mistiness of shadows.’

Atonement heralds a sunrise of Peace,

My soul’s now a bird of moonlit nights.

Eggs hued like rainbows; tulips that throng,

Daffodils and bunnies, sing Your sweet song.

- Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 24th March, 2021.

Wisdom from the Christ

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.

I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” KJV, John 14: 1 – 3.
