Done Searching
Once in a lifetime you
find that special someone.
Who makes your heart soar
and your searching is done.
First thing in the morning
on your face is a smile.
Knowing you're done walking
all those lonely miles.
You finally found someone
who is in sync with you.
Your heart, his heart
now there are two.
Someone to hold you
the feelings just right.
Secure in his arms
all through the night.
When you cry from pain
he wipes away your tears.
He looks into your eyes
and whispers, no fear.
I'll take care of you
if you will let me.
Because forever between
us is what I see.
