This unique masterpiece was created to pave away sadness and emptiness due to life's tremendous drama. Finished on a canvas, this work of art gives me great pleasure in that joyful face and glorious silent voice that says, life is short. Enjoy it.

Fall is one of the four temperate seasons, when the arrival of the night becomes noticeably earlier and the wind gets colder. It signals transition from summer into winter. It is the most colorful season of the year...

Various faces and races

All from different culture

Yet no boring creature

At 37 thousand feet

Up in the air, we unite.

One voice with a choice

On board Boeing 737

We abide on one crew concept

With a common goal

We say, go team.

The knowledge we acquire

Is a powerful tool

Scroll to Continue

To fight discrimination

Or the bias judgment

Based on one’s hue.

We stand tall

Right down the aisle

To serve with a smile

Keep you safe and secure

‘Til the end of the flight.

Unity in diversity

Is our ultimate goal

As we come to completion

Of our mission and vision

Without any exception.

We fly high in uniform

To enrich our social fabric

And in fostering friendship

We’re equally treated

Our message is solidarity.

Because we are one

In the eye of the sky

Regardless of our size

Every flight is a good flight

Diversity, we aspire to inspire!

kj force: Thank you. Yes, jaw hurt sometimes keeping a smile on my face. Lol! It could be very demanding but for most of us, it's not a job or a career, it is more of a lifestyle to be a FA. Happy to see you here...enjoy spring!

CrisSp (author) from Sky Is The Limit Adventure on March 31, 2013:

Oh Joe, thanks for the good thought and for always coming by. I hope you had a wonderful flight(s). I treat all my passengers equal. So, in my zone they are all VIP's. :) Keep well my friend.

nice write CrisSP...enjoyed...did a lot of flying over the years and never once did I envy any of the flight attendants.... very demanding job..having to smile 24/7....

Truly, a rallying cry for both passengers and crew alike! I think you should submit this to whoever's keeping a steward/stewardess blog. : )

I flew on four different airplanes this past week, and I kept hoping I'd see you on one of them or in passing at the airport. No such luck...but I did send up good thoughts for you. I observed how hard the stewardesses work, and in such compact quarters and with a variety of personalities, some even quite challenging, and I had newfound appreciation for the work that you do, CrisSp. Thank you so very much for being a great hostess in the sky and an enthusiastic Hubber both above and below the clouds.

With great love and respect,

Martie Coetser from South Africa on March 29, 2013:

The truth beautifully told. Unity in diversity is certainly our ultimate goal. In Cyberspace we learn that we are all the same - men are men and women are women regardless of their race, culture and religion.

I love this poem!

bravewarrior: I am forever hopeful and grateful. Thank you for stopping by. We'll certainly bring it on from the sky to the ground...We are ONE!

I think the flight attendant's profession is by far the most global-literally and figuratively-around, and they play a huge part in uniting others! Thanks for sharing!Passing round.

Beautiful Cris. My kids and I have an idea for next christmas. We want to make gingerbread men starting with white and adding a touch of black to the next and so on until the last one is black, and then place them all in a circle holding hands. Hmmm...we could make a hub about it! By the way that is a great photo!

Deb Hirt from Stillwater, OK on March 25, 2013:

I love it, Cris! That says it all. One day, I want to do a poster with many people of different race, our hands together. The caption will be, "you'll have to go through me first."

CrisSp (author) from Sky Is The Limit Adventure on March 25, 2013:

Hello Bill, thank you. Your support truly means a lot to me. My fingers were so itchy to put this piece down while I was at 37K feet and glad I managed to before it slips out of my head.

Cheers to embracing diversity!

Love from the sky~

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on March 25, 2013:

It's hard to argue with this message. Now if we an only get about seven billion people to understand the importance of diversity. :) Well done, Cris. Good to see you again my friend.
