Paint is such a wonderful medium to transform something, into a work of art.

1. Paint an old watering can with a flower design, for a plant holder.
2. Spray paint an old chair and re-cover the seat with an off cut material from the fabric store.
3. Paint on old bench in the garden. Try an antique green colour and use a stencil to apply a floral or leafy design along the top back-rest.
4. Cut an ornamental palm or leaf from your garden. Use it as a stencil for a lovely summer cotton sarong. Secure the leaf with pieces of Prestik so that it does not shift. Dab acrylic paint on with a stencil brush.
5. Stencil brushes can be bought at your local arts and crafts store.

Enjoy your project!

Creative Ideas For Your Photos

Here are some fun ways to use photos of your kids

1. Print some photos on stickers and use them to decorate gift boxes.
2. Take some of these stickers and make Christmas tree ornaments with rounds of cardboard or polystyrene foam. Add to both sides or spray paint the other side gold or silver
3. Capture a face of your toddler and place it in the middle of a flower as seen in the main picture on this page. Use it on a greeting card or also on a Christmas ornament.
4. This flower face picture could also be put on a thin wooden skewer and used as a cake decoration for their first or second birthday.
5.Of course the other option is to use these photos in scrap-booking projects.

Hope you are inspired to create something different!

Thanks Denise. One thing is that creativity does not leave us,slows down sometimes and we need a change for a while, for topping up, in the inspiration department.

Thanks Peggy for your positive feedback. That cute face in the rose, is my grandson, when he was small.

Enjoy your day. Keep safe too.

Thanks Lisa. One can save a lot of money creating your own gifts and have fun too. People love the fact that you have spent some precious time on them, too. The gesture is always appreciated and does not go unnoticed. :)
