Twelve Days of Christmas With Award-Winning Illustrations in Board-Book Form
Classic Version of 12 Days of Christmas
This board-book edition of the classic Twelve Days of Christmas is one to add to your collection of children's Christmas books. The illustrations are paintings from the Caldecott Honor illustrator LeUyen Pham and are the high point of this edition. Each illustration is filled with the details from the words of the song as you count along from the first day to the twelfth day of Christmas. The colors used in each illustration of bright and cheerful with rich coloring for each. The people who are apart of each illustration are especially notable because Pham paints people who are multicultural in his illustrations.
Celebrate Christmas by reading this special edition. This edition was published by Doubleday, a division of Penguin Random House. It has an ISBN of 978-1-5247-7111-9. The entire family will enjoy the beautiful illustrations in this edition and you might like to learn the song along with reading the book.

Twelve Days of Christmas in Innovative Edition That Includes Legos
This creative edition of the Twelve Days of Christmas is also one that you will want to add to your collection of children's Christmas books. Bring out the legos to add creative fun to reading this delightful version. The words to this classic carol are changed to fit the novelty of this edition from Lego. Cookies begin the story/song for the first day of Christmas. Christmas stockings come with the second day of Christmas. Donut rings take the place of golden rings for the fifth day of Christmas. 7 robots take the place of 7 swans on the 7th day of Christmas. Pirates, flying reindeer, train cars, and fairies all take the place of the familiar things that we know from the twelve days of Christmas classic.
The illustrations in this edition all represent the characters that can be built with legos. Young readers will be entirely engaged with building the characters from this edition. My personal favorites are the lego robots, the lego pirates, and the flying reindeer made with legos. Creative play comes along with reading this version of The Twelve Days of Christmas.
The Lego version of this classic was published by Random House and has an ISBN of 978-0-593-43027-9. It is recommended for all ages and parents will enjoy constructing the characters from this version with legos.

Bring Two Editions of The Twelve Days of Christmas Into the Classroom
Children's Christmas books were always my favorite tools to use in my early childhood classroom every year. I always taught the words to the classic carol Twelve Days of Christmas to my kindergarten students. This particular carol offers a wealth of learning concepts beginning with basic counting and continuing with recognition of all of the things that Christmas offered in the song.
