Can I Love You?
Three little words.
Three little words that breach all emotions.
I love you.
Simple and beyond reproach.
Simple but they make my throat choke.
I love you.
I stumble, I quiver, I fear,
It turns my feelings in to tears.
If I start them words now,
It’s inevitable my heart will ultimately bow.
I love you.
There’s elation in having you,
There’s cruel sadness in losing you,
These three words will change us,
These three words will break us.
I love you.
What does it mean when you whisper them to me?
Is it that you’re a part of me, forever eternal is that the certainty?
I love you.
Or are there cracks in this painted veneer,
That everything will fade and the warmth will all but disappear.
I love you.
Will it be a bitter ending, full of perpetual misunderstanding?
Will it be joyous, blissful and heavenly never faltering?
I love you.
It’s without knowledge, or reason we begin such death-defying leaps of faith,
This is definitely a test to the future in which we face.
But if we solemnly declare that these feelings are to be true,
Then all that is left to say is,
I love you.

Love is the emotion of true passion. It's the only one that can sprout all others. Although I fear it at times I cannot help but to yearn for it in it's absense. Good work keep it up!
