In his book Frames of Mind, Howard Gardner broadened the explanation regarding the conceptual potentials, capacities, and intellectual structures of an individual. The first number of chapters stated the conducted tests and pilot stages of certain people's abilities in a particular framework of intelligence with factual basis and informative analysis. His perspective about the given topic was professionally phrased in his own statement both scientifically and practically, which went along with a wide range of research and sources. Within the picture of developmental sciences, he mentioned citations about prodigies and professionals involved in the experimental studies of how the cultural, environmental, and social grounds affect the learning curve and brain development of children and adults. The author gave a meaningful stance based on his sets of understanding, reasoning, and observations with regard to the logical interpretation of how the probable and optimum heights of applied knowledge gained from pencil-and-paper test, practical experiences, and range of disciplines are achieved.

Series of statistical methods had been conducted to rank human beings' intellectual and physical performances and mental growth and development which were related to polymath measures, information processing, and brain-behavior (I.e., being less productive to linguistic capacities might mean that the person has aphasia; IQ tests, though doesn't measure the full capacity and mental abilities of individuals, is still one of the considered bases of grouping them within the hierarchy of their appropriate level). The observed studies determined the analytical functions of human intellect and anatomy, of why people with a good memory gain prominence. The importance of perceptive and receptive skills for the acquisition of an intelligent mind and the theory of multiple intelligences were also highlighted on the latter part.

On the technical side, the author did his assignment and research. He chronicled the basic and complex sides of the specified chosen topics from the traditional and philosophical views of discussion. I rate this book four out of four stars. This book is for medical students and professionals, biologists, note takers, practitioners, educators, researchers, book nerds, and scholars—as it would surely relate to their niche, expertise, and interest.
