Blue - Haiku

Rinita is a creative writer, with focus on poetry. She delves into several forms including Haiku/Senryu, Sonnets, Free Verse, and Prose.

This Haiku is about that moment during the frozen winter, when you are surrounded by room heating yet you feel a chill within yourself, which turns you blue, much like how your finger nails turn blue in wind chills.

Frost bite sets within

Fake warmth outside misty glass

Heart and nails turn blue
