An Ode to Love and Lord Krishna

An Air Warrior and devotee of Lord Krishna has published over 120 short stories and 15 books on fiction and 4 on military history.

The Lord

Lord Krishna is the foremost Hindu deity. He is also a historical figure and is supposed to have ruled the kingdom of Dwarka. Archaeologists have been able to locate the remains of this city under the sea off the coast of Porbandar in Gujarat. The name and synonyms of Krishna have been traced to 1st-millennium BCE

Krishna is also worshipped as Swayam Bhagwan ( the Supreme God). This tradition emerged during the Bhakti movement in the medieval era. The arts, painting, and dance forms like Bharat Natyam, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, and Manipuri are all inspired by the lord. He is a pan-Hindu god and finds mention in Sikhism and Buddhism.

From the beginning of the 20th century, the cult of Krishna has spread to the west through the International Society of Krishna consciousness (ISKON), in particular, there is a widespread belief in Krishna in Africa.

Lord Krishna is also the god of love and many lovers pray to the Lord for the consummation of the love. I have had the privilege of having experienced some supernatural events wherein the handiwork of the Lord is printed; the essence of the Gita is summed up by Swami Shraddanand, ' not a leaf moves without my will.'

What is love my lord

It is unbreakable, O Lord

It binds me to you

It guides me to persons who embody you

It is like a diamond which you want refined

My heart goes into you as you are like the lotus

In the pond

You guide to the seventh heaven

It is manifested in the trysts ordained

It is your gift

I live in you

It is manifestation of life

It is your gift

O’ Lord Krishna why do you give only happiness.

Take me into your fold for eternal bliss

Last word

Lord Krishna is worshipped as the eighth Avatar of Vishnu and is the supreme god in his own right. He is the god of protection, compassion, tenderness, and love. He is one of the most popular and widely revered figures in the world. Nearly 2 billion people believe in the Lord.
