What is Acrostic Poem?
An acrostic poem is a kind of poem, where the first letters of each line in the poem make up a word or a special phrase, which is usually the title of the poem. The letters usually occur at the start of the lines, but they can be found anywhere in the lines. They may appear in the middle or at the end of the lines.
The structure of an acrostic poem is very simple. The first letter of each line of the poem is capitalized. There is no need for rhyme scheme, rhythm, meter or any other literary devices to use in an acrostic poem. The lines could be composed of one word or many words.
