A Place Without a Morning – a Poem

Author:

I am no more me

I do not feel when you stab me deep

Tripping blood dye a cerise nostalgia at times

No more I do feel like dying

Do not you worry....

I am not telling you this any more

Barely ranting spree of a senseless spectre

Random blankness is here to mourn

Feelings do squirm at all those tears shed

Unworthy and abandoned cacophony

Heart diluted to empty words

Only a barren eclipsed wall of Dead Sea

Trussed with the uncanny fervour

Without a name to the illicit affair

Blinded by a you that is so illusory

You that was, in a mind only

I own that you in the hearts of my heart

A bottomless dark dead sea now

Icy crux all stroked to be warmth

Ignited with fallacy of love

Reality is a suffice of paradox

I do not feel like crying now

No worry alas!!!

But dark contoured footsteps do return

To again slash soul into pieces

Slaying an expired heart for false pleasure

Love and passion for faked hearts

A game of nothingness but then, return you do

To check if anything is yet living in me

I do not feel like feeling again

Waiting to be an empty meaning here

For a silhouetted rainy dark night

Still a taste lingers....

The taste of death raw and heart teasing....

Withered times do return....to a place within....

And mornings are a paradox never to be real...

Yes, here and now is a place

Where Mornings do not wake up!!!!!!

Deergha, I saw this on my feed not realising it was six years old. It certainly was worth another read. This poem has so much depth and could be called 'A Place Without Mourning' as well. Glad to have you back at Hubpages.

Great! I feel like a 7 year old. The body gets tired as I grow younger. Retired, sort of. More at home and with spiritual or kindred Spirits. Read a lot of poetry on Zoom and also live. Supports the Community here too. Remember I'm blessed by an Indian Satguru. Still blessed nearly 40 years later. Jai Ram!

Dear Shyron,

Many thanks for being here and leaving your valuable comment. Yeah you are right. The death of feelings I think is more pathetic than death of a person. Glad that you could relate so nicely with my emotions here.

God bless

Lisa VanVorst from New Jersey on April 10, 2015:

Wow, powerful and sad hub. True reflection of one's feelings.

Shyron E Shenko from Texas on April 10, 2015:

Deergha, this is hauntingly beautiful and portrays no physical death but the death of the meaning of love and relationships and how empty one feels when Love has died.

Thumb-up, UABI and shared

Dear Chitrangada, many thanks for your beautiful comment here. Votes and shares are well appreciated also. Yes you are right some times being among people also may make us feel very empty.

Very nice expressions and you have the ability to weave the words into meaningful poetry.

Sometimes one feels lonely and empty even in a crowd. Beautifully expressed. Voted up and thanks!

AudreyHowitt ..thank you very much, yeah you are right here....it is to depict that emptiness some times may be many people experiences within. Your comment is much appreciated here. God bless you always

Audrey Howitt from California on March 31, 2015:

Emotionally evocative write--there is a kind of emptiness here

deergha (author) from ...... a place beyond now and beyond here !!! on March 24, 2015:

Thank you @ keyenhancer.... for coming back again to read it. I can understand that its hard to write yourself about darker side in your own book. But I prefer to let flow whatever is natural of me. The emptiness was the spark of the moment. Some times it is better to let flow the darker emptiness within if any, so that light can sip in to make us feel lighter. Thank you really for making your time to be here once again.

Take care and God bless you always.

Don't i relate to this ?? Yes the emptiness and the darkest mornings are a reality sometimes...have the courage to be done with it. We are together Dee and that unseen string/bond that binds us together is something that we would not give up on...Let the feelings flow and let the heart fill light..if so it does somehow...love u always !

JL Tracey from United States on March 23, 2015:

Ah, I'm glad I had the right feeling, and that was speed reading! I reread at a slower pace to absorb it better. I like the dark elements. I'm usually not a fan of that and it was hard to write in my own book. However, I enjoyed this, thank you!

Dearest Faith...always there to shower me with support my friend, thanks for being with me. Yes it is indeed dark to be vivid in emptiness around. Do not worry... just a momentary mindset to express words in a different way here. Many thanks once again for your precious time and comment here. Hope you are doing good.

Warm hugs your way.

keyenhancer....thank you for reading this one here. Yes it is intended exactly to depict the emptiness within. Some times it so happen is that one feels all empty even if you are amidst a lot of people. Thus the mindset was for some time. Thank you for relating with my emotions of the moment without knowing from your side.

God bless you always and I hope you enjoying your days.

Frank Atanacio from Shelton on March 20, 2015:

the poetry is dark.. kind of cold but effective.. the photos help the lonely words feel even more lonely.. love it :)

Faith Reaper from southern USA on March 20, 2015:

This one is so dramatic and dark ...yes, emptiness.

Your gift of expressing words as you do, certainly paints the picture in our minds.

Peace always

JL Tracey from United States on March 20, 2015:

I'm not sure what the intended effect was, but this poem made me feel empty.
