Vibrant Colors

Blacks' blood color: red.

Blacks' and White's tears are the same.

White's blood color: red.

My children differ.

I love them each day the same.

God loves us all, too.

Gifts come in colors.

What is inside is the gift.

The rest is wrapping.

Thanks to you Louise and Ann. Perhaps I can get BLM to adopt the poem, or at least the 3rd stanza. Some claim that the BLM Movement has been corrupted, but if this can do the intended good, it will have been worth it. Love to you both. Keep doing all that you do to make this world a better place for all of us to share in.

Ann Carr from SW England on January 08, 2021:

This is great! Haiku is wonderful for instant dramatic effect and that's what this is.

Well crafted and a beautiful sentiment.

Louise Powles from Norfolk, England on January 08, 2021:

Lovely poem, Demas. I love vibrant colours!
