Quotes About Writing for Your Journal

Putting inspirational and writing-related quotes on various pages in your writing journal can help keep you going, especially if the quote is from a famous author and is about him/her experiencing some of the same difficulties with the writing process that you experience. Scribble them all over the front, put them on the dividers, stick them on random pages—whatever and wherever you want! Believe me when I say that reading over them when you're in a tough spot can work wonders.

Not trying to nitpick, but please double-check the spelling of the writers' names you're quoting. Ernest Hemingway. ERNEST Hemingway.

perhaps one of my quotes will make your journal

I am a huge quote person! I have a whole google doc just for quotes, and I love these ones. I tried to pick a favorite, but not having much luck! They're all good. I think Singer's "the wastebasket is a writer's best friend" one sticks out the most to me right now. Made me giggle, despite all its truth.
