100 Years in the Future Poem

Will our earth be here 100 years from now? Only if humans work to save it--not destroy it. My native American ancestor's care. Do you?

A Negative Poem

100 years from now--- my computer will be rust,

--- Twitter will be a bust.

--- Florida will be visited underwater,

--- $20.00 will be worth a quarter.

--- there will be no borders,

---no Congress to give orders.

---no history will be taught,

---no wars to be fought.

Florida Will Be Under the Sea

Florida Will Be Under the Sea

No Ice Bergs in the Sea

No Ice Bergs in the Sea

---no planes in the sky,

---not even a fly.

---no roses will bloom,

---there will be no room.

Scroll to Continue

---there will be no rural countryside,

---there will be no laws to abide.

---no icebergs will exist,

---remaining coolness will be a mist.

---oil and gas will flow like a river,

---no one will be here to give a shiver.

---no birds will sing,

---no mail will they bring?

---this earth will be silent and alone,

---there will be nothing left, not even a bone.

---no politicians to make you cringe,

---no alcohol to go on a binge.

---no taxes to pay,

---no sunshine or cloudy day.

----no president to cause inflation,

----no president to ruin our nation.

----no republicans or democrats,

----no humans, just rats.

For all the Negative People

This poem is for all the negative people that I constantly hear when I go shopping or out in the public. So many intelligent people so negative---- and the very ones who should know better---- are some of the leaders of communities. It makes me wonder are they just talking to hear themselves roar and spew negative remarks to have something to say to get attention. And they say that 100 years from now won't matter---but it will for our descendants. Or am I a positive idiot who always looks for the best in everything in this life?

Our Beautiful Earth

Our Beautiful Earth

World Peace

World Peace

A Positive Poem

Here is a positive poem just for the positive people in our world.

100 Years From Now—My Positive Poem

100 years from now---our descendants will rise to any occasion,

---without an abrasion.

---there will be “World Peace”.

---carried out by my GG-Great- niece.

--- pristine rivers will flow underground to quench their thirst,

--- The Golden Rule will be the only law and it will come first.

---Money will be the same all over the world,

---and no country will not say no to a baby girl.

---no child will go to bed hungry or ill.

---food aplenty will be forever, and given instead of a pill.

---all of society will be the same, no station, no rich or poor,

--- people will share if they have more.

---all children will be adopted, into a loving home,

---no one will have to live alone.

---respect will be among all,

---there will be no rulers to fall.

---birds will sing,

---of a happy Spring.

---work days will be 24 hours in a week,

---this is what the people will seek.

---no pollution in the waters or air,

---these people will do more than just care.

----all wild or domestic animal will have no need to roam,

----they all will have a good loving home.

----grocery shelves will be well stocked,

----no libraries will be locked.

---and the meek shall inherit the earth,

---as if our earth was a new birth.

Yes, 100 Years from now a wonderful place it will be, and I hope my spirit body will have eyes to see.

Hats Off To American Farmers

Hats Off To American Farmers

Thank Farmers for their Dedication

Sometimes I watch the white clouds float gently overhead---like a giant marshmallow,

Suddenly darkness can overtake the light and sends stormy bellow.

Sending the animals scurrying over the plains and fields,

For a dry safe haven their searching yields.

Many issues in life can be solved with a little care,

Kind gentle people will help and want to share.

Let the rain clean our earth and germinate the

new planted seeds,

When the harvest is in there will be no needs.

For all the country folks will divide with their

neighbors one and all,

It is like a large family whose bounty is gathered

before the fall.

Let everyone know to come and celebrate what

the earth has--- blessed us with today,

And stay to thank the Farmers for living their lives---

for us this way.

The Time for Respect and be Thankful is Now in 2022

I respect everyone who gives of themselves to help others. It is time to stop and count our blessings for the life we have today.

Family, friends, careers, communities and churches round out a wholesome life on this earth today.

Communication is the key to making our world small enough to link and help others in crisis, and many countries have done this for their people and others.

United we stand-divided we fall is still true today in our country. May God bless us all.

Thankful for all the people who made it through the Pandemic and pray for World Peace and may all the babies have a safe and loving home.

I was beginning to feel a little hopeless before I was even halfway through the first poem, but I see that it was an answer for all the negative people in the world, whew.

The positive poem is so full of light that it makes me hope you wrote the poem 50 years ago so that I'll still be around when 100 years comes around! : ) Your positive poetry gives me a sense of light, and hope for the possibilities of the future, thank you.

Hi Lord,

I am jumpimg on and off the Internet so fast anymore, since I had three family members sick at once. I looked for you in HH, and Friends, and just when I found you the other day, I had surprised company at my door. I know I have missed a lot of your work, but I will catch up.

Your Hub Friend,

Joseph De Cross from New York on April 01, 2012:

Hi Bobbi,

Catching up with ya..! after some 30/30 deadlines. Your poetry paints a reality of both worlds that actually live on the same piece of land. We have political parties and all kind of teams. Your positive poem is indeed awesomely done. What I would write, if ever have a chance would be a piece that could relate to both poems. Like talking to two twin brohters after all. Glad to see you around.

This is good work that deserves real appreciation. It shows that a coin has two sides. However, one can not feel happiness if he has never felt pain. Negative and positive thinking will always exist. Anyway, I liked it.

Jonathan McCloskey from Cinnaminson, New Jersey on March 29, 2012:

This gives me mixed emotions of sorrow and happines, good poem by a great hubber!
