The Unknown

The Unknown
Trying to conceal what has been
Done, it helps nowt but bruises
Beyond wretched smiling aura
You were my favorite unknown along
With your clouded accursed mourning
Skies,
My heart could stop fluttering
Whenever I saw your tears falling
From your cheeks,
We both love to hoist ourselves
Up to the highest mountains of
Unknown, where we both love
Listening the undisturbed tranquility
Of beating hearts, while the sun slowly
Settling in.
I heard you murmured in
a solemn sound, while the universe
In its motionless tranquility
A very comfortable one,
It was as if I could stop the
World from pacing, the rivers from
Flowing,
The waves from raging and
The wind from whispering,
So I won't hear nothing but
You,
I Won't see anything but
You.
To retrospect where you once was
Admired, with your comfort and
Being cloistered,
Where I was once substantially
Believed will last.
Watching you paced in helpless
Exhaust unfold disposition on
Sunday rainy morning, where I knew
The end of our days was about
To reach us,
you were just like
A mist ambled across the way,
Where you said you are
Supposed to.

Beautiful poetry, Chrish. Full of emotions. I loved these lines,
The waves from raging and
The wind from whispering,
So I won't hear nothing but
You,
I Won't see anything but
You.

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on November 10, 2020:
I sense sadness and betrayal in these words. A person once loved and trusted now a hurtful reminder of the times.
Hiding bruises to continue an outward appearance of a life unknown.
Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on November 10, 2020:
I salute you for writing poetry. Our society needs more poets in this world. Poets bring beauty to our world and for that I thank you.
