Free Valentine Hearts Clip Art Images

There's no more universal symbol of love and Valentine's Day than the heart. So I thought having an assortment of different styles and colors of Valentine heart clip art might come in handy for crafters, bloggers, and of course, lovers.

I created these Valentine hearts in the free online graphics application at Picnik.com. (If you'd like to learn how to make your own clip art, you might want to read my make free clip art with Picnik tutorial.) Picnik already had the rainbow, camouflage, teddy bear and bird designs and I created the rest.

For some reason, some of these images -- especially the ones that contain red and pink -- look a little funny at their reduced sizes. But if you follow the directions below, you'll get crisp and clean versions of them.

Downloading Instructions for the Free Valentine Hearts Clip Art

Please read the Terms of Use further down on the page before downloading any of these images.

To download, choose a thumbnail version of any of the Valentine hearts above the large images. When you click on one of the images, it will appear larger. Double-click on that larger image, which will make the best version of the art appear so you can download it.

If you have a PC, right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive. If you have a Mac, control-click with your mouse to save.

I love the creative vocabulary of these hearts. The mint, the love birds, the flames... very whimsical...

To me a heart is a year-round symbol of love, and so I have tons of them on our blog.
