Free Printable St. Patrick's Day Invitations

'Tis time once again for the wearin' of the green for that ancient Irish holiday, St. Patrick's Day. If you'll be throwing a party to celebrate and you want to make your own invitations, I think you'll find these St. Patrick's Day invitation templates helpful. They come in five printable designs, all of which feature one shade of green or another.

The first invitation design is a more modern interpretation of the classic four-leafed clover, and incorporates a plaid background and lots of fun swirls. The second design also has a modern touch, with the addition of a pattern that looks kind of old school. The third design is more light-hearted and has the traditional St. .Patrick's Day symbols of a leprechaun and a rainbow. And the last two designs have more of a vintage feel, and incorporate a background of clovers on one and an aged green damask pattern on the other.

How to Make Corned Beef and Cabbage

I understand that corned beef and cabbage is more of an Irish-American tradition for St. Patrick's Day than a strictly Irish tradition. But it doesn't really matter where it hails from, because it tastes good!

Thanks, Don. You're definitely an excellent writer!

I've wanted to design party stuff for decades. Now, thanks to the Internet, I can do whatever I want. If that helps people be more creative, I'm delighted.

Don Simkovich from Pasadena, CA on January 06, 2011:

What a creative Hub. I should look more closely at this. I love writing and I feel I'm an excellent writer. However, I've never thought of myself as a "craft" type person. But with your templates it's probably no big deal!
