Pumpkins, Jack o Lanterns and everything spooky

We love Halloween Crafts, here are some great Halloween craft ideas to keep the kids or your classroom busy and full of the spook-tac-ular fun around this time of year. Kids love taking part in every aspect of Halloween, and as the excitement builds why not capture that energy and get busy making Halloween crafts. Pumpkins of course are one of the main symbols of Halloween, and instantly recognizable and associated by the children to this time of year.

All the fun in our family is picking the Pumpkin to carving it out, however the younger children might not be old enough to be handling a knife, but that does not mean they can't take part.

Let their creative side loose, Once the masterpieces are created these can then be used as cheap alternative Halloween Decorations around the house.

After spending time working in the classroom in a Special Education centre, I would search endlessly for quick ideas to fill the time in the class, or to fill the afternoon, especially the day of the Halloween Party. It would take me all day to find a selection of resources I wished I could have just print, and go.

Usually time would run out and I would only end up with enough resources that were finshed in 5 minutes.

Here you will find a great selection of Halloween Pumpkin craft activities for children of all ages, and a few extra ideas too.
