Find Easy To Make Halloween Eyeball Treat Recipes

I love finding recipes and making treats that look like eyeballs for Halloween. These scary and gross recipes are going to be the hit of your party or dinner table. Your family and friends won't be able to stop talking about all the fabulous and freaky foods they were served at your party. Some of these eyeball recipes can get pretty gory, but they all are easy to make and delicious to eat. If you want this Halloween to be remembered for a long time, these treat ideas and recipes are for you.

The treat pictured up above is easy to make with mini-powdered donuts, colored gummy lifesaver candies, a chocolate chip pupil, and red icing gel that is usually found in a decorating tube. Just place the candy in the center (you can use a bit of icing or gel as glue if you like) and draw bloodshot lines around the edges of the donuts.

Eerie Eyeballs

These super freaky looking eyeballs are made with:

  • Powdered gelatin
  • Cream Cheese
  • Marshmallow Fluff
  • Cold Pineapple Juice

You will also need some truffle style candy molds, some food coloring to color the eye's iris, black food coloring to make pupils, some icing piping tips, a small dowel, and a soft paintbrush.

Prepare 2 Tablespoons of gelatin in 1 cup of warm water. Warm 8 ounces of cream cheese in a pot, stirring over a medium heat until the cream cheese is smooth. Add the marshmallow and blend completely. When the cream cheese and marshmallow are smooth and mixed, add in the gelatin mix until all the ingredients are completely mixed together. Finally add the cold pineapple juice and mix again until everything is mixed well together and smooth.

Pour this batter into eyeball molds until they are chilled.

Pop all the eyeballs out of the molds onto the trays you will be serving them on. Gather your food colorings, your tip, and paintbrushes. Put some food coloring on the bottom end of the tip and place that on the center of the eyeball and make a circle. Take your paint brush and brush the food coloring up to the middle of the circle. Then make a pupil with the black food coloring.

Names For Eyeball Treats

Eyeball Of Newt Recipe

These eyeballs are amazing. They are also the easiest Halloween eyeball treat you will ever make. They are made with cookies or crackers and candy eyeballs. Dip each cookie or cracker in melted chocolate - you pick the color, this green looks pretty amazing, don't you agree? Make sure your cookie/cracker is completely covered with chocolate and set it on wax paper to dry. While the chocolate is still warm, place the candy eyeball in the center. Wilton makes two kinds of candy eyes that would be ideal for this treat recipe. One is white and black, the other has red in the whites of the eyes. You pick out the ones you like best. Just wait until you see the reaction you get with these creepy, but tasty, eyeball treats.

Bloodshot Eyeball Recipe

Peanut Butter Bloodshot Eyeball Recipe

To make these bloodshot looking eye balls you will need the following ingredients:

  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar, divided
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 pound white candy coating, coarsely chopped
  • 24 brown Reese's pieces or milk chocolate M&M's
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring

Combine 1 cup of the confectioners sugar, the peanut butter and the butter into a bowl. Mix and shape into balls that are about 1 inch in diameter.

Put some wax paper on a cookie sheet and put your finished balls on that paper. When you are done put the sheet into the refrigerator to chill and firm up. This will take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

When you are ready to finish your Halloween peanut butter treats, melt your candy coating in a microwave according to the package directions. Stir until the candy is smooth. Dip each candy ball into the melted candy. Let the candy drip off the candy balls and place it on wax paper. Put a Reese's candy onto each of the "eyeballs". The Reese's candy is going to be the pupil. Let the finished treats stand and cool for about 30 minutes.

Next mix the water, the confectioner's sugar and the food coloring together in a bowl. You can use a paintbrush to brush fine lines on each of your desserts...this will give them the look of a blood shot eye. You can also pour this sugar, water, food coloring mix into a Zip-Loc type plastic bag, and seal the bag. Then snip a tiny hole in the bottom corner. Use this plastic bag like you would an icing bag...draw lines down from each pupil around the eye. Let the peanut butter eyeballs set and them store them in an airtight container. These make a spooky treat for Halloween.
