Here are some really great ideas on what you can do with a bag of bones at Halloween time. There are people out there who create different scenes with their skeletons and change them every day.
A bag of bones would be to a Halloween maniac as thrilling a find as a treasure chest filled with pieces of eight would be to a pirate. Bones equal skeletons, skeletons equal Halloween creepy, creepy equals spooky, and spooky equals fun around Halloween time. And as we see in the pictures on this page, these set-ups are awesome. If they can do it, so can you! Gather up your bones and start thinking of ways to set them up and dress them.
Graveyards, spiders, webs and pumpkins are among the top choices of decorating themes in the month of October, but after seeing this new fad I think the skeletons are number one. So make sure you put a bag of bones on your must get shopping list.
There's a gory idea if you have a couple of haystacks around. Just stick a pair of bone hands in between some of them to make it look like a skeleton is in there trying to get out.
Then you will need a monster mask, a hoody, and a pair of gloves or monster costume hands to make it look like this mean scary guy is leaning on the stack to make it look like he is trying to keep the other one sandwiched there.
The Bones Family Playing Halloween Jenga
The games are on Kerth Road in St. Louis, MO. I mean literally on one of the lawns on Kerth Road. These bony guys are playing Jenga - Check out this family's fun Halloween display.
But what is really amazing about this house and the bone decorators who live there is the fact that they change the bones every day! So if you went by today and then again tomorrow, you would see a whole new display.
Now that's is serious bonemanship!
These folks are not fooling around. I wonder if they know Eric Laughton from the first picture on this page? If not, they have got to meet!
You can find these pictures and more on Face Book. Here's day 8, which happened to be World Egg Day!
Happy World Egg Day Said The Skeleton To The Chickens And Geese
I wonder just how many people have totally flipped out with Halloween bone decorating? I mean this little move the bones around every day hobby is really catching on. Once you find one looney, I mean decorator, who dresses and poses their bone skeleton displays every day, they all come out of the woodwork.
Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking it. I love it. I wish I had the energy to do it and how do they keep coming up with new posing ideas. I mean October is a long month!
I wonder if the Mosers have met Ed Laughton or the family on Kearn Road? I cannot imagine a dinner party with these people. What would you serve? Feetloaf or that cute little skeleton veggie platter?
