As for me, I regard making handmade gifts as a well rewarding hobby since i could get most of my supplies and stationaries at home by recycling things which are going to discard also known as "trash" and reusing left over materials into beautiful gifts.
Imagine that you are giving a helping hand to save our planet Earth by reducing garbage and saving money in your pocket at the same time!

I was sick and tired of buying $1 per piece of tissue paper for craft making. It was waste of money and expensive.
Luckily, I stumbled upon this tissue paper that comes in 4 pieces of each color. Imagine 100 pieces that could last me a few years of craft making paper flowers!
I love the variety of colors provided, from red, pink, orange to rainbow colors! In addition, the tissue paper isn't the same as tissue paper that we buy for wiping mouth. The papers do not wrinkle much, doesn't rip off easily and best for making paper flowers and Easter egg coloring too.
This was the BEST Buy I had ever purchased online!

How did I get the idea to make Paper Rose Flower
Frankly speaking, when I first saw my daughter brought home a handmade Paper Rose Flower , I thought that if a student could make such a beautiful craft, so can I.
She learnt the skill from her art teacher in school by using white A4 paper, painted the paper with watercolor, dried it under the sun and cut out the shapes. In order to shorten the preparation time, I decided to use left-over colorful construction papers which I had kept from my past craft projects. Indeed, the rest of the procedures are pasting and curling, as easy as a pie!

The Final Image for Handmade Paper Rose Flower
Getting free toothpicks from food outlets is one of the alternative way I could gather for my projects.
However, it doesn't seem nice to grab a handful after each meal.
So, I bought a box of wooden toothpicks for after meals, convenient when meats get stuck in between the teeth and for my artprojects , Rose paper flowers that I did for mon on Mothers Day.
These toothpicks are made well, smooth surface, a sharp pointed but it doesn't hurt the gums nor fingers.
When slipping the toothpick into the paper flowers, each toothpick has the just right lengths and the white glue managed to glue pick toothpick firmly.
I would definitely buy another box next month
