A Christmas Story About The Little Christmas Weed, The Dandelion The Rose on Our Tree.

My Story of the Christmas Weed. A Little Christmas Story.

The Legend goes like this.

This is the story of a little girl, a sad little girl because she had nothing to give the Christ child. She had to find something for baby Jesus. She noticed that her little dog was looking at something near the rocks, she saw that it was a tiny beautiful little yellow flower and she knew that she had a gift for the Christ child.

What a great gift for the baby. She picked the flower and carried it gently in her tiny hands and walked the distance to give it to the baby Jesus, her little dog walking beside her.

When Mary saw the little girl, she smiled and asks her to come closer to the baby. She came closer and laid the little yellow flower beside the baby Jesus. Her gift was as precious as any gift the baby Jesus had received.

Mary knowing all along that the gift was a dandelion and knowing how much it meant to the little girl.

This is the reason little children always give the dandelions to their mothers because Mother Mary accepted the little yellow dandelion for the baby Jesus, from the little girl.

Don't all children love dandelions? Children can't resist them and they always think of Mom. I always kept a small vase in my kitchen just to hold the dandelions. To children, a field full of dandelions is just a field full of gold and love.

I don't think there ever was a child that didn't love dandelions and thought that they were so pretty that their mother should have it for a gift. It was a special gift for Baby Jesus.

Why We Add A White Rose To Our Christmas Tree.

We always add a white rose to our tree for Mary because the white rose has always stood for Mary.

Known as the Mystical Rose of Heaven. A white rose means purity and said to be the first rose on earth.

Mother of the baby Jesus, she deserves a place on our tree.

Christmas will be here sooner than we think.
