Welcome the new year by celebrating with a wreath on your front door. You can either upcycle a Christmas wreath to include fitting decorations or start from scratch and make one especially for the celebration. If you are hosting a party it is also a great way to welcome your guests. Items you will need include a wreath form, party items such as you would use to celebrate New Years and tinsel. Stock up on items from your local dollar store to keep prices down or purchase from the dollar line in other stores.
Nothing screams New Years like a shiny silver wreath complete with party horns and a plastic ornament of a champagne bottle. The sign in the middle reads "Happy New Year".
Black & Gold
For a traditional New Years look - opt for black and gold. You can purchase ribbon in blacks and golds and cut them to different lengths which are then tied to your wreath form to create this wreath.
A clock is a very typical decoration to incorporate for New years. Print out a clock image and glue this to a small paper plate which is then added to the center of your wreath.
