Meat Ball Mini Mummy Appetizers

These cute mini meatloaf appetizers are easy to make with frozen or fresh made meatballs. The meatballs are wrapped in strips of dough, baked, dabbed with a bit of sauce and topped with black olive slice eyes...and then they are ready to serve. You can serve them with a scary pasta dish or as an appetizer with some tomato gravy to dip them in.

The mummy pictured above reminds me of a bowling pin shape. So I guess that's a good way to describe what your molded, raw meatloaf should look like. Then it gets wrapped in strips of cut, refrigerated dough and now it's ready for the oven.

Add Bacon To Your Halloween Mummy Meat Loaf

Who doesn't love bacon? I do, I do! This bacon covered mummified meat loaf is really going to be a big hit on your Halloween dinner table. Make your meatloaf as usual, shape it into a skull shape, and wrap it in bacon. Watch the video for how to instructions and cooking directions.

The skull kind of reminds me of a pretzel shape. You can see from the picture you will use onions as eyes and teeth. The eyes have a clove in them to look like a pupil. Also just top the finished meatloaf with Mozzarella Cheese circles and black olive slices to make eyes.
