Mothers Day - Dancing Birds Wind Spinner
Spinner - Assembled and Installed in Yard
Unpacking and Assembling the Parts
In the box, there was a pole set, that screwed together to form a long pole with a three pronged foot stand. The bottom pole has a knee and foot, and the second piece has a hole to go over the bottom pole. The notched hole fits over the other knee and holds the pole securely upright.
Then, the other pole screws to bottom pole and is secured by a small screw. Assembling the spinner, involves unpacking the seven bird branches, and removing the plastic packing from them. There are four birds on each branch. Each branch is secured to the spinner with a short machine screw, which is attached from the bottom. You start with the top set of birds, and work your way to the bottom set of birds, because... it is because the screws are inaccessible if you start with the bottom set of birds, the bluebird tails are very sharp and you will get cut if you try to turn the screws inside two sets of birds. Live and learn. I had to remove my first two sets of birds, and start over. You should do it the correct way. Smile.

Assembly of Bottom Pole
The Wrong Way to Assembly Birds - Wrong - Wrong - Wrong

Do not assemble the bottom bird first. You will cut your hand off, plus, your screwdriver will not fit between the birds
The Correct Way to Assemble the Birds
Attaching
Attaching the poles together is a somewhat simple process of screwing the two poles together.
Small screws for securing the threading once it is completely twisted together.
Secure Screws
Almost Done
The little pointed top is added for decorative purposes.
It's threaded, so simply screw it on.
Then, find a location in your yard, tap the forked end into the ground, and then, enjoy the spinner. The wind will turn it.

Installing at Location
If you've ever used a shovel, the installation is similar to using a shovel. You lift up the loose prongs, and place your foot on the primary prongs and press down into the dirt. After the prongs are level with the dirt, tap the loose prongs into the bird and step them down into the dirt. Make sure the grooved top is lined up before you start.
Press down, and voila, spinner is ready to spin into your hearts.

Hi, Mary Norton! Thank you for your comment. If I lived closer, I'd help you assemble one. We are practically neighbors, the way it is. Smile. Ontario and Minnesota, that is.

I love it very much but having to assemble things now, I just don't look forward to another one. Still, it looks so beautiful.
