How to make a Tractor Cake
Why not create your own John Deere Tractor Cake. It is not that hard to bake your cakes and stack them to look just like a Tractor - add in some Donuts for your wheels - Frost and Decorate and you have a very cool Tractor Cake you can be proud of and the kids will love it.
This Tractor Cake was made using Two Loaf Cakes - you can bake them yourself or buy some pre-made. They were then cut to size using a knife and two different sized Chocolate Donuts were used for the Wheels.
The fun part is the decorating and you can do this anyway you like. For a John Deere Tractor Frost the entire Cake Green and add in your Yellow details.
My Biggest Tip when frosting a Cut Cake is CRUMB COATING. This means you give the cake a thin layer of frosting and stick in the fridge to harden a bit and them add the rest of your frosting. This helps to not get all the crumbs in the frosting. Very Important if you want it to come out good.
