Irish Cocktails for St. Patrick's Day: Traditional Irish Drinks

Gabriel loves to write stories: long; short; funny; sad or scary. As long as there is an opportunity to create a story.

A little Celebration

Every year on the 17th of March people celebrate St. Patrick's Day all over the world. St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. However the celebrations are not limited to the Irish. Indeed it's a day when everyone and anyone can be Irish for the day and join in the fun.

The emerald Isle recognizes this special day as a holy day. Colourful parades fill the streets throughout the land. Dublin, the capital city puts on a remarkable show. It's a delightful fun day for the family to enjoy.

Should the desire to visit Ireland and embrace the origins of this great day arise, you may sample some of the drinks listed: if not, at least you have the recipes and can create your own special celebration.

Sláinte (gaelic for cheers).
