How to Make a Halloween Gravestone With Zombie Decoration
You will need
Piece of scrap wood ( rectangle or square any size you desire.... ) 2 ½ ' x 2' is a good size
2 Wood stakes (one should be long enough to stake in the ground and hold the wood up)
Jig saw
Paint (Acrylic) Black, white, green, red, yellow
Round bowl
1 cup flour
½ cup white glue
Water
News paper scraps
Tinfoil or clear wrap
A pair of old gloves
Paints brushes
Black cloth or hood
3 screws
Using your jig saw cut a corner off of the piece of wood. Paint wood to look like a tombstone. Use black and white to make a grey, add details and lettering.
For the head....Cover bowl with foil or plastic wrap, mix together flour glue and add water to make a paste. Paste on strips of news paper until a head shape has formed, add a nose and let dry for 1-3 days.
When paper Mache head is dried use remainder colors to paint on a scary face. Let dry, attach head to a piece of the wood stake. Use screw to attach to head stone. Place gloves over edge as if your creature is peeking over the tombstone corner.
Attach last stake to back of head stone leaving enough exposed on the bottom to drive into the ground.
Make a few more for a scary graveyard.....Happy Halloween

this is a great tombstone prop building article.
The materials are easy to come by the effort level is relatively easy and the finished Halloween tombstone is great looking! Love the zombie peeking over the gravestone! nice touch!
