How To Make A Friendship Bag
This is a nice little pick me up for a friend or co worker or whoever may need a lift.This is also a good project for girl scouts or brownies to make. Try gathering all the materials and having each guest at a child's birthday party make one or church group.Surprize someone by making and giving one to them-just because.
First find a bag- cloth bags look pretty ,you can find them at your local
craft store. Then gather all of the items listed.You will need one of each
item. You can find life savers individually wrapped in walmart ect.I will
add a short recipe at the bottom for you to share,but feel free to write
your own.Make your own HUG COUPON with paper & marker or crayons.use a
birthday candle unless you have a big bag then you could use a scented votive.

Place all items in bag. Make a copy of list below and add to your bag-so that
the friend you are sharing it with understands the contents.

2 CUP FLOUR 1 EGG
1 CUP SUGAR 2 TABLESPOONS MOLASSES
1/2 CUP SHORTENING 1 CUP SOUR MILK
1/2 TEASPOON GINGER 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1/2 TEASPOON CINNAMON 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
Preheat oven 350 f-grease one 9" pie pan.Mix flour,sugar,
shortening,ginger and cinnamon.Mix until crumbly,set aside 1/2 cup
for topping. Make a hole in remainder,add egg,molasses, 1 cup sour milk
1 teaspoon baking soda, and salt. Mix by hand 50 strokes.Do not use electric
mixer. Pour into pie plate and place crumbs on top.Bake 30 minutes.Enjoy
