Floating Ice Hand and Decorative Ice Ideas

Many people have latex allergies. These are allergies to the skin. It is unclear the potential dangerous effect it could have with the person who is allergic to latex if she or he would have the punch with this type of glove in it. Make sure that you purchase power free and non-latex gloves.

The floating hand is easy to make. A few days before your Halloween ghouls join the party; thoroughly wash a non-powered and non-latex glove. Fill it with water. To give it a different eerie look, try adding some food coloring that would be a different color than the punch.

Then seal off the end of the glove with rubber bands. Set the glove into a small pan to catch any run-off and freeze. Before setting it in the bowl of punch, run it under warm water to loosen the ice.

Another idea is to fill a mask with punch, freeze, and then un-mold and place it into your punch bowl.

You can also find gelatin molds for making brains, hearts and other organs in Halloween stores that work for making ice.
