Fun Halloween Treat Ideas

Pintrest really is the font of all creative ideas. Whether you are looking for fun recipes, home interior ideas, DIY instructions or just general crafty inspiration you can find it all on pintrest. This time I went looking for fun halloween themed food! And boy did I find a tonne of yummy ideas, which would make great sweet treats for any halloween party.

So what's you favourite spooky treat?

Edible Eyeballs for halloween

Edible Eyeballs

These scarily realistic eyeball treats can be found on the Disney Family website. They can be created by using cream cheese, cookies, life savers and chocolate drops! So simple and easy to make, they will look great piled up in jars and bowls to scare and delight your guests.

Pumpkin Rice Krispy Treats

Pumpkin Rice Krispy Treats

Pumpkin Rice Kristy Treats

These Pumpkin patch treats aren't so much scary as scrummy! Made using food die, marshmallows, rice crispy, and chocolates. The original recipe is american so uses Tootsie Rolls, but in the UK you could replace it with a Flake! Original posted On Home Stories A to Z - these would also make great party food for a princess themed party too.

Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops

Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops

These little 'monster' treats are super easy and fun to make. The idea is from Craft-O-Matic blog and I think they would be such a simple treat to give children at a halloween party or trick or treaters. Just place a marchmallow on a skewer and dip in green candy chocolates and melted milk chocolate and finish off with some icing eyes, mouth and stitches. Or let the kids put the faces on! Fun party activity,

Witches Finger Pretzel Treats

Witches Fingers

These creepy Witches Finger treats can be found on the Deep in the Heart of Arkansas Blog. Using pretzle rods, dipped in green chocolate and using almod flakes as nails, they are scarily realistic. But I bet they taste better than they look!

Mummy Dogs

Come on, this is a great idea! Just take cocktail sausages wrap with thin strips of ready rolled pastry and bake. These could also be done with hot dog sausages to I suppose, for adult size treats! Plus serve with a bloody tomato sauce dip for extra creepy fun!

Used Band Aid Snacks

These are just kinda gross to look at in all honesty. Graham crackers with frosting and a bit of jam. I bet they taste good but the look really is kinda yucky! These can be found on Katherine Marie's blog. She has plenty of other yummy and yucky treats too.

Jello Worms

Jelly Worms

This tutorial can be found in lots of places so it seems but I first found it on Pintrest via Instructables. Straws + Jelly = Worms! Super easy and fun to make, these big bowls of worms would look great on the table, and will probably freak a few people out too! hehe! Plus what's not yummy about jelly! Make them in an asorment of colours and flavours to suit everyone.

Have Fun

I hope you all have lots of Halloween fun this year, whether you are attending a party, throwing a party or just having a scary night in with you family and a film.
