Fun Halloween Craft Ideas for Kids and Adults

Halloween Crafts

It's that time of year again (well almost!) Halloween is fast approaching us. And any party season means one thing - Fun crafty decorations!!! So as with most of my crafty needs I turned first to Pintrest. It really is the best place for some major crafty inspiration and ideas.

So here are a selection of the best Halloween craft ideas I found whilst browsing Pintrest. Seriously who knew you could make such fun things from pipes, milk cartons, tins and balloons! Plus lots of these crafts will be great for making with children too.

Ghost Candy Jars

Ghost Candy Jars

What a great simple way to leave treats dotted around your home for a Halloween Party. Pile them up with sweeties, nuts, pretzels or other yummy treats and strategically place them around your party venue, making for great practical decorations. Made from a simple plastic bottle, gauze and goggly eyes - meaning it is nice and cheap to make too. It's a great craft to get the kids involved with too. Find the original craft on BHG.com

Aren't these dryer vent pumpkins just super cute and realistic. Simply spray paint a tumble dryer pipe, curl into a circle and glue together (or clip), then add some straw and a twig to the top - and voila Decorative Pumpkin that will last for years to come. Pumpkin Balloon Game

Pumpkin Balloon Game

This crafty decoration doubles as a great game for kids and adults alike. A super simple halloween craft that even the least creative of us could manage. Just cut a basic pumpkin shape from orange and green card then top with treat filled balloons for a 3D wall decoration, and later a fun game with some darts. This fun little number comes from Martha Stewart

Pretty Pumpkin

Having a party with a little more class. What decorations which are a bit more elegant and grown up? Then this great beautifully decorated pumpkin is the perfect decoration for your home. Using puff paints or any other type of 3D paints (although you could just use a pen really) let your creativity flow as you decorate a pumpkin with pretty swirls and patterns. This pretty pumpkin can be found at Think Crafts.

Goggly Eye Photoframe

Ok so this is a craft you could leave up all year rather than just for halloween - especially for a little boys monster room. It is a really simple craft and can be done with an up-cycled frame found in a charity or thrift store and goggly eyes brought from a dollar or craft store. Just pile them all on and have fun. It'll be a great place to display your fun Halloween fancy dress picture afterwards. Find it at A Diamond in the Stuff blog.

Spirit Jugs

Who knew a milk jug could be so versatile and look so spooky! I think these little ghouls would look great lining a path to the front door, making it easy for all the kids to trick or treat. They used fairy lights but i think they would also work well with glow sticks! Which are cable free and easy to drop in the necks of the bottles - simple! Find the DIY at Disney Family Fun

Pumpkin Lanterns

Baked Bean tins into lanterns, could it get any simpler. This craft (plus a few others) can be found on Two of a Kind, Working on a Full House Blog. Great to add a fun rustic look to your party or Halloween home décor, and they double up as candle holders. Plus who says you have to stick to pumpkins, be creative and make Ghost, Spider or monster lanterns too.
