The bouquet he brought home today has pastel colored lillies, vibrant roses, and a few dahlias, perhaps.
Their colors are beautiful. No heavy scents.
We are celebrating a week late, so I was researching how to keep the blossoms ablaze.
Apple Cider and Sugar
I'm going to follow advice I found online for apple cider vinegar and sugar. The sugar feeds the flower, and the vinegar inhibits growth of molds and fungus. Things that would normally thrive in a room temperature, water filled environment.
Not today. Not on my watch...

It will either work, or it won't.

At best, the flowers will still look good in a week. At worst, they will wilt to nothing right away.
Time will tell.
