Free Easter Decorations: Victorian Easter Table Place Cards Template
These elegant Victorian Easter place cards are easy to make
Easter is a time to share with friends and family. If you're planning an Easter gathering, why not surprise your guests with a Victorian theme? The Victorians loved Easter, because it featured themes they loved: flowers, Springtime, animals and elegance. Some things are timeless, so it's completely appropriate that we borrow a little of that spirit for our Easter holidays.
The Easter table place cards on this page will introduce a true Victorian feel to your table, yet they couldn't be simpler to make. If you happen to know calligraphy, you can dress these up even further by making the name on each place card a work of art. But even if you don't know calligraphy or have beautiful handwriting, you can still make the cards look lovely. Just use a rubber stamp with rotating letters that will allow you to spell out each name. That and some colorful ink will make these look great. Both should be readily available at your craft store.

Hi, Ruthie. It's good to meet a fellow Victoriana lover!
Check out some of my other hubs; they have free Victorian images too. I just obtained some new Victorian images, so I'll be adding even more Victoriana hubs in the future.
RUTHIE17 on March 20, 2008:
Wonderful!
I too love Victorian but it's getting hard to find the real thing.
People don't seem to realize that selected pieces of Victorian can fit in with any décor and give it that "personal" touch.

Thanks for sharing that story, Zsuzsy Bee! I've always been interested in anything Victorian, so I love these little cards.
Zsuzsy Bee from Ontario/Canada on March 19, 2008:
I remember those victorian style cards were available for sale when I was a little girl. The store had a big enormously long counter and belonged to a nice little dumpling of a woman with blue hair. Whenever I misbehaved I went and bought Mom a little card (they came in scented too). As I remember I was a regular customer...thanks for a nice bunch of memories
regards Zsuzsy
