Christmas at Disney

Christmas Overlays

The first thing on my list of must dos when I go to Disney during the Christmas Season is check out all of the Christmas Overlays. Certain rides at Disney World add Christmas decorations to the specific ride only for the season, which makes that ride experience unique and different compared to riding it any other time. For example, on Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom, red and green flashing lights are added as well as some Christmas music to make the ride more cheerful but also still really fun.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Another must do on my list is to purchase a ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, because this separate party has a ton of different events that you do not see during the day. There is a separate parade, stage show, and firework show that are just so magical and amazing that I think is worth the extra ticket for.

Decorations

Ok, I think that the decorations might be my favorite part of Christmas at Disney. From the really tall Christmas trees to the life size Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian, no matter where you are there is always something Christmas to see which is definitely a must do for me. Plus, the Christmas music played throughout the parks makes the overall vibe better.

Food and Treats

The last must do on my list would have to be trying all of the holiday treats throughout the parks, because most of the food is only available during the Christmas season, so I think personally I would have one day dedicated to trying food, especially on Epcot days when I have the chance to try the holiday treats from around the world.

No matter what you decide to do, Christmas at Disney is always the most magical time of the year.
