Cat On The Computer Scratching Post
My Cat Loves To Lay On My Laptop Or PC Keyboard
I don't know why, but my cat is always getting on to my keyboard. I am forever sending messages to people that read, "Cat On The Keyboard" because I just sent them a message that looks like this ... -dfodddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd. My cat has good intentions, but he can't spell for beans.
I saw this scratching post and thought it looked interesting. I wonder if he would like it. I may have to get 2 since I do have 2 cats. They each may want their own.
Why Do Cats Love Keyboards And Laptops?
“Many cats sit on spots such as keyboards and laptops because they are near their favorite person and can be at the center of their attention,”

The Beautiful Cat Hammock
The Macrame Hanging Cat Hammock
This cat hammock is very cute and it's unusual. At least, I've not seen it before. There are many different styles to choose from but I picked this one. I think it is safer than the other ones, even though they are more beautiful. I just feel like there is a lot going on there where the cat could get entangled in the strings. I would not feel comfortable thinking my cat could get caught in them. The little fishy that's hanging down can be adjusted to a better height if you think it needs it.
So, I picked one I feel would work for us. I know when you go to the site you will see what I mean. Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear your opinions.
My CH Cat Is Unusually Small
My little CH cat is very small. Yes, I adopted a cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and I feel fortunate to say she is mild. These CH cats can be quite wobbly when they walk, some fall quite often, but they don't know they have a problem. They live healthy lives just as their non-CH counterparts do. Anyway, she is less than 5 pounds and she cannot climb every where she wants to because she cannot reach some of those spots. I think some of these smaller cat scratchers would be good for her.
This Cat Scratching Post Might Be Just The Right Size For My Tiny Cat
This scratching post is shaped like a mushroom and has two scratching posts on the same base. This is for kittens and since my Little Sassy Pants is so small, I think this would work well for her. She is never going to be a big cat. I like the double posts since she can get onto the smaller one and then climb onto the taller one.
I think this is going to be too small for Lovey since he is of average size. But that's okay, he has taller posts of his own to scratch. They don't have to share everything!
This Podium Cat Scratcher Is Way Too Funny
This cat scratcher just gave me a really good laugh, and it was a belly laugh. I love this and the good news for me is that it is a good size for both of my cats. It's a bit more costly than I would usually spend on a cat scratcher but it's worth it for the comedic value it has.
Seal Of The President of the United Cat States, I don't want to get political but this will have everyone agreeing with each other that it is funny. I needed that!
Go Climb A Tree
The Tree Cat Climber
This is a great climbing tree for cats and it really looks like a tree. I have seen some of these for sale for hundreds and hundreds of dollars, so this one is reasonably priced. I've heard that when you put it together it is important to use the long pole at the bottom and the smaller connector at the top. If you don't do that it can be wobbly and we sure don't want that to happen. I am the impatient type and would probably not completely read the directions when assembling this, so this helpful tidbit is good to know.
Cats love to climb and I think any cat would enjoy climbing and hiding behind the leaves on this model.
The Cat Sitter DVD
My Cat Needs This 3 Part DVD Set
My cat, and yours, is going to love watching this three part DVD. The Pet Sitter DVD has 3 volumes and part 1 is birds, butterflies, and small critters like squirrels and hamsters. Part 2 is full of over 50 fish, and the 3rd DVD is fish in an aquarium. I wonder which part will be my cats favorite, what do you think your cat will enjoy the most? This is a definite must have this Christmas for my cats.
The Flopping Fish
This Flopping Fish toy is going to be a hit with both of my cats and it is a motion sensor toy. When a cat goes near it the fish begins to wiggle and flip and flop around like a real fish out of water. My cats are going to go crazy and I can see them batting it around, and it reacts in turn. It will be great way to keep them occupied and interested for a long while.
This fish toy is also rechargeable via a USB cable that comes with it when you purchase it. That's nice for you because there are no batteries necessary to keep this cat toy in flip flop order. Double check when you are ordering that your wiggling, floppy fish comes with a washable cover. That just helps it to stay cleaner and last longer! These fish come in a goldfish style, a carp style, and a clownfish style. Cute!
This sounds messy but it also sounds like a lot of FUN for your cats. These robot battery operated fish swim around in a basin you supply. There are 4 different, brightly colored robot fish to swim around in your water filled basin. The robot fish come with 8 extra LR44 batteries and an installation tool for you.
Imagine how excited your cat is going to be with a sink full of water with swimming fish in it. A mess? Yes, but the fun your cat is going to have will be worth it. I suggest you try it in your sink so your cat can splash all they want without worrying about the floor. The fish swim as soon as you put them into the water and stop when they are taken out of the water. The fish are about 2.5-3 inches long and it says the batteries last about 10 minutes before needing a charge. The reviews are mixed for this product, but it does seem fun and it can be returned if you are not satisfied, a feature I love when I purchase stuff. When I get mine I will post my own review.
These robotic fish has flashing LED lights in them to attract your cat. Just be sure to read the instructions on inserting the batteries and make sure to put the swimming fish in an area where the water won't do any damage to your floors. I suggest a kitchen sink if that works for you.

Yes Lovey is a Russian Blue. He is the sweetest, most loving boy ever. That's how he got his name.

Great Christmas shopping list for cats. Is Lovey a Russian Blue? We have a seven-year-old Russian Blue adopted. From the list, I am very keen on the cat hammock, as he has never had one before. Thanks for sharing!
