pre lit xmas trees

If you celebrate Christmas, the center and most obvious part of your holiday décor is the Christmas tree. It’s where most families gather on that special day and where most people place their gifts. It’s also where you hang treasured heirloom ornaments that have been in your family for years – maybe even for generations. I would venture to say that the Christmas tree is the most important item for most people’s decorations.

Do you love the appearance of a natural Christmas tree – a fresh-cut one? Do you also hate the mess and bother of a live tree? With some of today’s artificial Christmas trees, you can have the best of both worlds. Some of these artificial Christmas trees are so realistic that you’d swear someone just brought it in from the woods or from a Christmas tree farm. The trees are the right color, and they’re very full and thick. The only thing missing is the aroma, but you can help that out with some of the new wonderful scents on the market.

One thing I really like about my artificial Christmas tree is that I can put it up as early as I want. I don’t have to worry about the tree’s shedding needles all over my living room floor. I absolutely love Christmas and Christmas decorations, so I like to put my artificial tree up early and enjoy it as long as I can. This wouldn’t be feasible with a live tree, even I were diligent and watered it every day. And that’s another plus – not having to water. I always hated dragging water into the living room and trying not to get it on all the gifts under the tree as I attempted to give my live tree a drink.

An artificial tree won’t dry out like a real tree, either, so it doesn’t become a fire hazard. Every holiday season, real trees catch fire and cause mass destruction in homes, along with occasional deaths. What if your live tree caught fire while you and your family were asleep? No such worries with an artificial tree.

And there’s another advantage that artificial Christmas trees have over real Christmas trees: they’re more attractive. They’re always symmetrical, with no holes or gaps. And the better artificial Christmas trees are incredibly full. This means no shaping, no pruning, and no turning a “bad side” to the wall to hide it. An artificial Christmas tree is always perfect and ready to go when you are!

Okay, for a Christmas tree, you gotta have lights, right? Of course you do, and that means untangling and unraveling strings and strings of lights, checking each one separately to make sure all the bulbs are good. This can take forever, it seems. And then you have to string all the lights on the tree, making sure they’re evenly spaced. Once that’s done, you have to stand back and make sure all the cords are hidden in the branches. This problem is easily solved with a pre-lit Christmas tree.

Pre-lit Christmas trees are incredibly convenient. The better artificial pre lit Christmas trees have scores of small lights, all evenly spaced and perfectly in place. Once you put the tree up, all you have to do is decorate it. The lights have already been done for you. For a less stressful Christmas, pre-lit trees are a must.

Where to Buy a Pre Lit Christmas Tree

Unless you’ve been living under a rock or totally avoid the stores during the holiday season, you’ve no doubt seen artificial trees on display for sale. The problem is that these trees are usually covered with loads of ornaments, tinsel, and other decorations, so it’s hard to get a true look at the actual artificial tree on display. Even if you could, your selection will be limited. If you shop online, however, you’ll have a world of pre-lit Christmas trees from which to choose – a virtual forest of artificial trees! Choose a pre lit Christmas tree in shades of green, in white, in pink, or in other colors to accent your home’s décor.

You’ll also find the best prices for artificial pre lit Christmas trees online. Online shopping makes it easy to compare different pre-lit trees side by side, including prices, options, and features.

I've always thought the pre-lit christmas trees were beautiful. Mine is artificial but it isn't pre-lit so I have to untangle the lights every year.

Buckie, that's the only thing I don't like about artificial Christmas trees - the smell. Nothing beats the aroma of a fresh Fraser fir!

Great ideas - we had 2 or 3 pre-lit trees before we moved to Central Oregon and sold them all at a garage sale because we were moving to the 'land of the trees' - Oregon. However, all the trees that we have gotten since we've been here have dried out within 2 weeks - so guess what? We bought another pre-lit tree! It really is safer and I have to be content with buying boughs for the smell I miss!
